Welcome to the latest updates from the AIMG community.

Official updates:

  • Beyond an exciting run-through of hot-takes on AI research this week, we have 2 new events scheduled you should check out:

    • What do the IAB, Grey Goose, and Rhino Records have in common? I’m not sure yet, which is why I really want to catch this session next week with Caroline Giegerich (IAB), Kate Martin (Razorfish), and Alicia Yaffe (Warner Music Group Global Catalog).

    • Then, we just scheduled a special partner event with Bombora, a proud supporter of Marketecture Media and AIMG. B2B marketers know that Bombora is one of those gold standards in data that so many platforms and marketers rely on. In this bonus event at a special time on September 9, we’ll host their co-founder Mike Burton to discuss how to unlock the potential of the B2B ecosystem. RSVP here.

  • We're expanding the Using AI for Marketing book with new chapters on GEO and AI Agents and we’d love your input.

    • If you have insights or experiences to share, record a brief interview using Bright Interviews by @Brad Mehl /Boundless Markets. Your perspective could help shape the next edition! Try it out here.

  • Meanwhile, be sure to keep tabs on our updates here:

  • Andy: A couple weeks back I mentioned I was thinking of building a travel-related app. We've made progress already, as it's a lot faster to code with AI tools like Replit... but it's by no means 'easy.' To help us keep goig, would any folks here be willing to take 5 minutes (6 if you're really verbose in your responses) to share a little bit about your travel preferences?

  • Jane: Perplexity stunned the industry with a $34.5B bid for Google Chrome, aiming to merge AI search with the browser’s 3B+ users, though legal hurdles loom. Figure’s new Helix-powered humanoid folds laundry with human-like skill, and Sam Altman is backing Merge Labs, a Neuralink rival in brain-computer interfaces. Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 4 now processes 1M tokens, raising the bar for large-scale AI projects.

#offers

It’s a lightweight script that gets your site ready for LLM search. It creates API endpoints with live info about your business and automatically generates the right files on your site.

  • Danielle: Hey everyone. If you're looking for your next role (or if you know anyone who is), I'm a Personal Branding Expert and teaming up with a Career Coach to conduct a 10-Day LinkedIn profile Power Up. • Randall: I'm torn. Such a slow way to communicate information and yet, I've watched this clip a half-dozen times already...

  • Mark: I took a bit of a script, gave it to Claude to rewrite it in a song-ready format, gave it to Suno along with a style prompt describing... well, it should be obvious. Came out pretty well. I want to do all our courses as songs now.

  • Coleman: Hey everyone! I've been working in AI/ML for about 5 years (previously at Inflection AI and Play AI before their acquisitions). I've been experimenting with using AI for content creation / customer acquisition for some time now - ended up generating over 3B views and learned a lot about what actually gets people to stop scrolling and engage...

#try-this-tech

  • Randall: Recently came across this platform that allows you to create videos with code. Seems an incredibly powerful tool to have in a pipeline to automate video creation with data and code. In fact, the demo video was made with code.

  • David: Anyone else using Perplexity Comet? Anyone actually using it as their default browser? Just started diving in and will see how far I can push it beyond typical AI queries.

  • Sandhya: Just a heads up, Alium.io is running paid research interviews for senior folks in marketing, ecommerce, AI, etc. If you’re director-level or above, you can get $425 for a 45-min call sharing your honest take on the tools you use (esp ones that are AI-centric). Just finished my interview and thought the entire process was super smooth. If you're interested in a referral link DM me.
